Dr. Kelvin Kwok

Dr Kelvin Kwok is a Specialist Colorectal Surgeon at Gosford Private Hospital, Gosford Public Hospital, Brisbane Waters Private Hospital and Tuggerah Lakes Private Hospital. He completed training in General Surgery at Gosford, John Hunter and Concord Hospitals. He subsequently completed a Master of Surgery degree at University of Sydney and engaged in further training at Austin Hospital, Melbourne and Concord Hospital through the Post-Fellowship Training Program of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ). Dr Kwok has been recognised as a Member of CSSANZ in 2013 and completed further requirements to become a Fellow of CSSANZ in 2022.

Kelvin has been a co-director of Central Coast Colorectal since 2012 with a special interest in laparoscopic and robotic colorectal surgery in the treatment of colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. He completed training on the Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical platform in 2021 and performed the first robotic colorectal resection on the Central Coast. Kelvin maintains the triennial requirements for Re-certification in Colonoscopy with the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr Kwok is a past Head of the Department of General Surgery at Central Coast Local Health District, overseeing Gosford and Wyong Hospitals from 2016 to 2018.
